Mitch Randles
Fire Chief, Temple, Texas
Chief Mitch Randles has been the fire chief of the Temple, Texas Fire Department for the past 2 years following his retirement from the Joplin Fire Department in 2014. Chief Randles has been in the emergency response field for over 28 years in both paid and volunteer departments. He has worked as a firefighter/paramedic, driver/engineer, Captain, fire marshal and deputy chief before assuming the role of fire chief of Joplin in August 2010. Randles education includes a Master of Business Administration, a bachelor’s degree in Management, an associate’s degree in Fire Science and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officers program and designation as a Chief Fire Officer.
