Matt Deighton

Matt Deighton is an entrepreneur whose ventures have included a wildly popular Texas restaurant, and a boutique condiment called Duck Salt. After his home was destroyed in the Greensburg, Kansas EF5 tornado in May 2007, he worked as the volunteer coordinator during the clean up and rebuilding efforts. Today, along with his beloved Dalmatian, Molly, he devotes much of his energy to the New York Says Thank You Foundation. All of this has carried him to disasters in Missouri, Minnesota, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, New York, Sendi, Japan; Newtown Connecticut; and the red carpet at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival.
