Benjamin Alexander has over 26 years of public and private sector experience in community planning and design, project management, public engagement, visioning, and post-disaster long-term community recovery. Benjamin gained significant experience in community development review, design process coordination and project management during his 13 years of city and county planning practice. As a former FEMA employee and current consultant to the agency, Benjamin served as a community facilitator and recovery planner at numerous disaster locations across the nation where he was recognized as an excellent leader, collaborator and communicator. Benjamin is a principal with InsightFive22, where he uses his skills and experience helping communities and organizations navigate pre- and post-disaster situations.
